"Foxconn has accumulated experience and strength in the assembly and manufacturing of electronic components and sophisticated instruments. Meanwhile, the semiconductor sector has a strong relevance with Foxconn's previous businesses," said James Yan, research director at Counterpoint Technology Market Research.

"For that purpose, the bank will concentrate its efforts in sectors such as renewable energy－for example, solar, wind and small hydro electrical plants－energy efficiency, clean transportation, urban mobility, sanitation, and water and waste management," he said.

"For the last quarter, which is between April and June, in order to ensure long-lasting growth, this number would be a bit lower. But for sure, it would be double-digit growth for China this year," he predicted.

"For foreign companies, a collaboration with Chinese companies in infrastructure projects in third-party countries can help open up access to its large domestic market. Furthermore, foreign companies can partake as a private investor in projects that are risk-guaranteed by Chinese institutions, with an improved risk-return ratio," Wijeratne wrote.
